Why this?

• I'm very good at writing postcards
• Most of my artwork is in Providence but I am not in Providence to send it to you
  
• These postcards are essentially original artworks which will be worth so much someday when I'm dead and famous
• I collage to acknowledge that the images and language used to make all artwork come from a conversation larger than one artist. Transformation is constant, and all new renditions are linked to their pasts. In Audre Lorde’s words, “There are no new ideas waiting in the wings to save us.” I want to build a new world with you, and I want to use what we have, because it is all we have.
